Two new Sunkid Nautic Jets at SchiederSee
Funtastico Family Park in Schieder-Schwalenberg (Germany) offers families a wide variety of recreational activities, including a diverse range of rides as well as numerous play, climbing, and water attractions.
In the summer of 2026, two aging Sunkid Nautic Jets were replaced with brand-new units of the same type. With this upgrade, Funtastico continues to rely on the tried-and-true ride principle—and promises its guests even more fun with the new Nautic Jets, in line with the motto “higher, faster.” Or as the park describes it on its website: “The boats are pulled up to a height of eight meters on a rope before racing down the slide into the water. Splash. The wild ride ends with a spectacular splashdown—and you don’t even get wet.”
Traveling at speeds of up to 40 km/h, the boats fly freely through the air for up to six meters. More than 40 million Nautic Jet rides worldwide prove just how much fun this unique ride concept offers.
Sunkid would like to express its gratitude for the ongoing partnership with the Funtastico Family Park, where, in addition to the Nautic Jets, a Skydive, a Luna Loop, a Tower, and a Butterfly—all manufactured at our facility in Bassenheim near Koblenz—delight guests.
