World market leader Sunkid invests at the Bad Goisern site (AUT)

As one of three production companies of the Sunkid brand, Bruckschlögl GmbH looks back on a history of more than 130 years. In addition to small ski lifts, the Bad Goisern site also produces the Sunkid Moving Carpet - the world's best-selling ski conveyor.

"The developments of the past years have been so positive for us that we are confronted with challenges due to our success, which one can only wish for as an entrepreneur. After all, the previous administration building simply became too small and was threatening to burst at the seams" explains CTO Dipl. Ing. (FH) Herbert Zopf on the occasion of the ceremonial groundbreaking for the new building with an investment sum of around two million euros.

From Bad Goisern to more than 70 countries worldwide

Bruckschlögl employs more than 60 people and is part of the international Sunkid Group, being the central production and development site for the approximately 8,500 projects realized to date in more than 70 countries. "Not only do we produce ski conveyors and lifts for the world market, but we also develop and design rides for amusement parks all over the world," Herbert Zopf is visibly proud of his team.

The new building, which is scheduled for completion in 2019, will thus not only provide modern and spacious office space for design and administration, but also sufficient reserves for further growth. Until a few years ago, the Moving Carpet was purely a ski conveyor for winter sports. Today, it is also used in various versions as a means of transport in water parks, as part of events and functions, but also as a transport solution in the public sector, Herbert Zopf explains the positive development of the company.
